New research shows people who weren’t hospitalised with Covid-19 are just as likely to suffer from long-term effects of the virus.
A new study on Long Covid led by the Mater Hospital in Dublin, found 25 percent were still suffering from symptoms a year after being infected with the virus.
The data also shows one in five people were suffering from moderate or severe depression.
The Health Research Board-funded study examined the long-term effects the virus had on 155 people over 14 months.
